Engineer the future of Sri Lanka's infrastructure.
For 84 years, NativeWay has been Sri Lanka's MEP partner — building the power, climate and safety systems behind hospitals, hotels, factories and high-rises. Join a team where your work powers the country.
Why join NativeWay
We're not a startup chasing the next funding round. We've been here since 1942 and we'll be here when you retire. Stable, technical, ambitious — and built for engineers who care about the work.
Real responsibility, fast
You won't be three layers deep on a Jira backlog. Our engineers run their own projects from day one — design, commissioning, client handover.
Brands that mean something
Sole distributor for Teksan generators. Authorised partner for Hitachi HVAC, FRAL dehumidifiers, DOMUS laundry, Force MTU power systems. You'll work on equipment that actually matters.
Continuous learning
Manufacturer training in Türkiye, Italy, Japan and Germany. ISO certifications. We invest in engineers who want to keep growing — not just keep their head down.
Long careers, not jobs
Many of our team have been here 15, 20, 30 years. We promote from within. We pay fairly. We don't ghost juniors. The finance you sign at 25 still applies at 45.
Three countries, one team
Travel between Colombo, Malé and Dhaka offices. International project exposure across South Asia and beyond. Work that doesn't end at the border.
Engineering, not bureaucracy
Family-owned business. Decisions get made in days, not quarters. If you have a better idea, the path from idea to execution is short — and your manager will tell you yes or no themselves.

Do you sponsor work permits / visas?
For Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi citizens working in Maldives or vice-versa, we handle work permits as part of the relocation package. International candidates are welcome to apply but must have current right to work in their country of choice.
Is remote work available?
We're an engineering services business — most roles require site presence. Hybrid arrangements (2–3 days office, rest remote) are negotiable for senior engineering and back-office roles after the initial onboarding period.
What's the typical compensation range?
We benchmark against the local market for each country and grade. We discuss specifics in the phone screen — we don't believe in roles where the salary is a surprise at offer stage.
Do you accept applications from non-engineers?
Yes. We hire across finance, HR, sales, marketing, IT, logistics, procurement and operations. Roughly 30% of our team are non-engineering professionals supporting the technical work.
How long does the hiring process take?
From application to offer typically 2–3 weeks. From offer to start date depends on your notice period — we don't pressure candidates to break commitments.
