What countries does NativeWay operate in?
NativeWay operates across three countries: Sri Lanka (head office in Colombo, plus regional offices in Anuradhapura, Matara and a service centre in Sapugaskanda), Maldives (NativeWay Maldives Pvt. Ltd. in Malé, since 2023), and Bangladesh (NativeWay Bangladesh Ltd. in Dhaka, since 2018).
Are you ISO certified?
Yes. NativeWay is ISO 9001:2015 certified — covering quality management across our design, supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales service operations. We are also a CIDA EM1-grade contractor in Sri Lanka, the highest grade for mechanical and electrical work, covering all MEP categories.
Are you the sole distributor for Teksan generators in Sri Lanka?
Yes. NativeWay is the authorised sole distributor of Teksan diesel generators in Sri Lanka and Maldives. We supply the full Teksan range from 10 kVA to 3 MW, with genuine OEM spare parts, factory-trained engineers and 24/7 service support.
What HVAC brand do you distribute?
NativeWay is an authorised Hitachi distributor for Sri Lanka. We supply and install Hitachi VRF, VRV, chillers, AHUs and split systems. Our engineers handle heat-load calculations, design, installation, commissioning and ongoing service for hotels, hospitals, malls, factories and premium residential projects.
Do you provide industrial dehumidifiers for swimming pools and cold storage?
Yes. NativeWay is the authorised FRAL distributor for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We supply industrial dehumidifiers from 24 to 2,000 L/day, including refrigerant units for warehouses and pharma cleanrooms, swimming pool dehumidifiers (FSW series with hot-water battery option), and desiccant absorption units for cold storage and pharma where dew points down to −60°C are required.
Do you supply fire safety systems compliant with NFPA standards?
Yes. All our fire safety systems are designed and installed to NFPA 13 (sprinkler systems), NFPA 14 (standpipes and hydrants), NFPA 20 (fire pump rooms) and NFPA 72 (detection and alarm) where applicable. We also comply with Sri Lanka Civil Defence Force (CDF) requirements for buildings in Sri Lanka. NFPA re-certification is included in our AMC.
Can NativeWay handle complete MEP design-build projects?
Yes. NativeWay provides end-to-end MEP — mechanical (HVAC, plumbing), electrical (LV/MV power, generators, lighting), public health, fire safety, and BMS (building management systems) — under a single design-build contract. CIDA EM1-grade contractor with ISO 9001:2015 certification. We've delivered hospitals, hotels, factories, residential towers and government buildings across South Asia.
What is included in your annual maintenance contracts?
Our Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) typically include: scheduled preventive maintenance (4 visits per year for generators, 2 for HVAC chillers), genuine OEM consumables, oil and filter changes, annual NFPA re-certification for fire systems, 24/7 emergency call-out, and priority parts dispatch. We tailor each AMC to the equipment age, criticality and site conditions. ISO 9001:2015 quality-managed throughout.
What is your typical response time for service emergencies?
AMC customers in the Western Province get on-site response within 4 hours for critical faults (generator down, fire system fault). Other provinces get same-day or next-business-day response. Maldives island sites are typically next-day depending on flight schedules. Our 24/7 service hotline is +94 77 082 0820.
What is the lifespan of a Teksan generator?
With proper maintenance (regular oil changes, AMC, genuine parts), a Teksan diesel generator typically lasts 20,000–30,000 operating hours before major overhaul, equivalent to 25+ years of standby duty (running 1,000 hours/year). Continuous-duty installations may need overhaul at 15–20 years. Our service team can provide condition assessments to extend service life.
How long does a generator installation take?
A typical 250–500 kVA standby generator installation takes 4–8 weeks from order to commissioning, including site survey, civil works (foundation, fuel tank), electrical integration, and testing. Larger MW-class plants take 12–24 weeks. We provide a detailed schedule with each quote.
What if my equipment is not from a brand you distribute — can you still service it?
Yes — our service team works on most major brands. For diesel generators we routinely service Cummins, Perkins, MTU, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Caterpillar and others. For HVAC, we service Hitachi (our brand), Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Carrier and York. Parts sourcing for non-distributed brands may take longer than for OEM-aligned brands. Contact service@nativeway.lk with the equipment make/model for a service quote.
Do you offer training for our facility maintenance staff?
Yes. We provide on-site operator training as part of every commissioning project, plus standalone training programs for facility teams covering: generator operation and basic troubleshooting, HVAC system controls and BMS interface, fire pump testing protocols, dehumidifier maintenance schedules. Training is included in major project handovers and also available as a paid service for existing equipment owners.
How do I request a quote?
Three ways: (1) Fill out the form on our Contact page (preferred for detailed enquiries) — replies within one business day. (2) Email info@nativeway.lk with project details (drawings, BoQ, scope). (3) Call our sales line at +94 777 777 156 (Mon–Fri, 8.30 am–5.30 pm SLST). For tenders, reach tenders@nativeway.lk directly.
Do you offer financing or rental options for generators?
Generator rentals are available for events, construction sites, temporary power shortages, and bridging projects (typically 1 week to 12 months). For purchases, we work with several Sri Lankan banks for equipment financing — typical terms are 36–60 months with 20–30% upfront. Talk to our sales team for current options.
